Puget Sound Outcast Derby welcomes skaters of all genders, ages 18 and up.
Roller derby is a full-contact, fast-paced sport played on quad skates. With positions like jammers, blockers, and pivots, and game-play that's unlike any other sport, it can be confusing on the track and in the stands, but don't worry. That's what we're here for!
Puget Sound Outcast Derby (PSOD) is the PNW's first MRDA (Men's Roller Derby Association) league. We pride ourselves in meeting our members where they find us, whether that's a veteran skater that's competed on the international field of play, or someone who's never worn quad skates.
We offer skating opportunities to individuals who are interested in either recreational derby or competitive-level play. We also welcome people who want to get involved as a referee, non-skating official or as a league volunteer!
PSOD welcomes all trans women, trans men, trans and/or gender-expansive individuals, non-binary, intersex, women/women-identified athletes, and male/male-identified athletes who feel most comfortable playing within a MRDA league. This policy is not dependent on pronouns or gender presentation. The league reserves the right to protect its space and members by excluding individuals who do not agree with this stance.
